RE: Can anyone tell me if they tow with a Tundra?

to the op: Im pretty sure you will be fine. Just take it slow. The 4.7 is a good motor. Your a a bit underpowered though. I have a 2006 Jayco 27BH. I also have a 5.7 and It tows better than my previous 2000 23' flagstaff.

RE: Replacing the Rubber Roof on my Prowler (lots of pictures)

using staples to build a trailer that moves and shakes down the road just does not make sence. :S to the OP thanks for posting the pictures. I have done a few flat commercial EPDM black rubber roofs. Its pretty trickey to lay the ruber down and get it smooth. Dont worry about the bubbles and such. I dont think they will ever lay flat. Its not a huge deal and doing it yourself saved you a ton of $$$ -Shawn

RE: Issue with magellan warranty

I am surprised you never heard from Hanam Vuong, maybe he left the company. The CEO is Nelson Chan and his assistant is Sherry Hartwig they are at phone number 1-408-615-5141 (San Dimas, California). You could try them. Their e-mails were shartwig@magellangps.com and nchan@magellangps.com. I originally had an issue and got nowhere with India and I searched their website and came up with Nelson Chan as the CEO and I emailed him, he replied that he had given it to Ms.Hartwig his assistant, I spoke to her and she had Hanam Vuong call me and we sorted things out over a couple of weeks. I found they were all very keen on making happy customers. thanks for trying to help but these Email addresses are not vaild I guess. I tryed them 2 times. RE: Recaulking the outside.

condensation for sure. With out our trailer the windows were dripping wet on the inside with just me and the wife when we wake up. No cooking or anything.

RE: What GPS is good for RVing

I would pass on the Magellan Maestros. Mine came with map info from 2006 when I bought it in early 2008. they charge you for future map updates at the price of 59$ :R There tech support is based in India too.. The Magellan Maestro series is also very slow to navigate even freezing up at times.

RE: Issue with magellan warranty

this is very fustrating. I got no reply from that Email at all. I also called magellan 3 more times and got 3 more BS responses.. All of them were to india.. They cant give me a timeframe on when I should get the winshield mount or the 12v cigarete lighter adaper beacuse there backordered.... I guess I just have to wait and see. I wanted to have everything that came in the box as when it was new so i can sell it on Ebay and buy a unit that worked for me.

RE: Need help too old to tow

I sold my trailer last month for my asking price on craigslist. Just be accurate on the description and give as much info as you can. Its 100% free to list.

RE: How does a Cat Back Exhaust

I wouldn't expect much of a mpg increase with just a catback. If you don't want the extra exhaust noise (especially while towing under load), I'd probably forego it altogether. Bingo..

RE: trailer plugged in

Mine is plugged into one of those $10 rotating timers. It is set to come on 1hr a day. The batteries stay fully charged, and does not boil the water out. I never thought I that. Very good idea!

RE: gas not working on one tank

I hope so. So many little things wrong with this 06 so far. I guess I will remove the little hose going to the tank and blow it out with air.

gas not working on one tank

Hey guys, I just noticed that one side of the gas works. When I swap the bottle to the side that I know works everything works fine. Do you guys think the line on that side is clogged with a spider web? or maybe the switch on the regulator is bad.

RE: I froze my trailer

Sounds like you got lucky. And, I also hear that the water lines are being made of an expandable materal. But, why tempt fate?? WINTERIZE!! Yes the plumers at my job told me this just yesterday.
